On this page I will show you some of my Unique Clay Baskets
Here are my Clay Baskets. Each clay bottom was thrown on a potters wheel, with a mixture of different clays, for color changes. The pot was then left to dry, cleaned, the holes for the rim were drilled, and then it was high fired. After the pot cools, the rim is woven with Basket Reed, and Raffia. Then the Basket Lid is matched in size to the lip of the pot, weaving the pattern as you go.
All of these Clay Baskets have been sold. The Basket Lids can be repeated, on another pot , but the pot will not look exactly like the ones pictured.
